My idea for the cover of The Heir is that it has both twins on the cover. I picture the girl twin with a hair color in-between America’s and Maxon’s, or strawberry blond, and the boy twin with auburn hair. I decided on a plum purple dress with gold accents because it’s a old contrast with red or blond hair. Since we have no idea what the twins look like or what their names are I did my best with this. I also love painting in water color. I rather not steal photos or even stock images for my entry. I did implement the title, however.
The Selection without the dust jacket is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.
It’s the most elegant thing I’ve ever seen. I looks like a book that should be at a wedding, on the table, for guests.
Danielle Paige and Kiera Cass receiving fan art I made at the DarkDays tour in May, at Anderson’s in Naperville.
Not YA fanart, but I was inspired after watching the season 3 finale of Once Upon a Time and was freaking out when I saw Elsa at the very end. I loved Frozen when I saw it back in January. The colors and animation are spectacular. By far my favorite animated Disney movie of all time. 9 x 6 in, watercolor pencils and paints.
I used watercolors and watercolor pencils to make this fan art of The One cover. I am giving this to Kiera Cass on her DarkDays tour.
I drew Amy Gum from Dorothy Must Die with water color pencil and painted a bit.
